Interlude: A New Interactive Video Experience

Founded by Israeli rock musician Yoni Bloch, Interlude was the realization of a vision to offer users a unique next generation online video experience. Interlude's patented technology platform allows consumers to create in real-time a unique and dynamic version of a video that is based on pre-recorded audio/video segments. The result is a sharable one-of-a kind version of a popular video, created from millions of unique possibilities.

The highly interactive nature of Interlude's technology encourages a dramatic increase in user retention rates and engagement time (content being viewed an average of three times per user), as well as extraordinary online sharing numbers. Content companies and advertisers including Microsoft, Nokia and Old Navy have used the technology to create interactive music videos, advertisements and branded webisodes.
Interlude's first U.S. music video, "Keep Your Head Up" by Andy Grammer, recently received the 2011 MTV "Most Innovative Video" award.

Interlude's platform can be distributed through a fully embeddable player, an API integration option, or via a pre-roll mechanism.

In early 2011, Interlude was funded by Sequoia Capital.
